My name is Karen McCauley and I love working in my studio! When I first started taking pottery classes, I drove an hour to Macon every Monday after work. I was worried that I wouldn’t feel like going or that it was too far to go on a Monday! Anyway, after my first night, I was hooked! It was relaxing and so much fun. It made Mondays something to look forward to. 25 years later, I feel excited by the anticipation of working with clay! I feel so blessed to dance with creativity this way.
I’m a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. I’ve never liked to get all dressed up, so it’s not surprising that I love putting on an old pair of jeans and t-shirt to go to the studio. I’m usually bare footed, too, so I slip into my old sandals and I’m a happy potter! Add a little music from my iPod and my dog Cosita and it doesn’t get much better.
I Hope what you see delights you!
