The holiday season is here! The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling off and the days are getting shorter. This is also the time we focus more attention on others, making lists of possible gifts to buy, parties to attend and still keep up with everyday duties. For me, I’m spending a lot of time in the studio, enjoying every minute of it! I am working on new nativities and trays and soup bowls, crosses and serving bowls to name a few.
I have a show at my hometown church Friday, November 20 in McAlester, OK at First United Methodist Church on the corner of 13th and MacArthur Lane from 9:00 – 4:00. I am also considering an Open Studio show at my studio in Tulsa, OK in December. I will send out a note to all who signed up to be on my mailing list, when the time is set for that. If you haven’t signed up, this is a good time to do so.
I hope you have a fabulous time though all the upcoming holidays and remember to shop local and buy handmade whenever possible. This is what keeps artists and small business owners going!
